Hey, Hey, We're the Monkeys!

So I finally got my "Thoth as a Baboon" tattoo and I figured I'd share it with you all. Thanks again to Korshi, for designing the tattoo, to Janin for recommending the tattoo shop, Dharma Tattoo, and to Loco for actually inking me up.

Three reasons for getting this tattoo: 1) I wanted something on my left arm to balance me out. 2) I wanted to commemorate three awesome decades on this planet. 3) I wanted to celebrate finishing up my masters. Don't ever let it be said I don't suffer for library science!

Here's an older pic of my right shoulder:

I like it. And I sympathize about taking the pic. It was not easy to use my left hand to take pics of my right wrist -- since I am a righty.

it turned out well! so you have one on each shoulder now? that must look pretty cool... i'm reading red land, black land by barbara metz just now, can't wait for them to invent time travel so we can see what ancient egypt was really like. when that does happen, i think you'll be able to infiltrate a temple of thoth undetected :)

I love the Ibis. I'm wondering if you have it copywrited or can I have permission to incorporate into a symbol for my Coven Family. I'm looking for the symbols for Love, Honour, Strength and Balance. I found one for Love, I'm using a Sacrab for Strength and I like Thoth for Balance. I LOVE your Ibis. Please email me with the answer. cat_who_writes at yahoo dot com.
